Delia Pless is a poet and teacher whose work has appeared in jubilat, Prelude, LIT, Sixth Finch, Western Beefs of North America, and elsewhere.
She holds a Bachelor's degree in Comparative Literature from New York University, where she received the Comparative Literature Senior Thesis Prize for her translations of the poet Alexandre Latil. She received a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst in 2016, where she co-hosted the jubilat/Jones Reading Series.
She lives in Chicago and works as a writing instructor for Columbia College, DePaul University, and the University of Chicago Graham School.
She's from Durham, North Carolina.
She edits the poetry journal Biscuit Hill with Rushing Pittman and Chris Griggs.
